Advanced materials Apelo A1 uses a thermal polymer housing, a material completely resistant to corrosion and suitable for any hull material. Hella marine has employed thermal polymers for decades and built-up substantial experience. Thermal polymer draws heat away from the internal electronics to support the brightest polymer underwater lamps on the market.
Electronic protection Inside every Apelo lamp are intelligent drive circuits that sense their environment to regulate the power and control the heat inside. Apelo is as happy running out of the water as in it. We call this dry running protected.
